1st Cell Group Meeting - Resolution

Yeahhh~!!!

Finally, we had conducted our 1st cell group meeting for the year of 2010 yesterday night. Its very simple and seems to be a little quiet because there were only 4 people attending the meeting - Junior, Nadia, Neeva and myself. Keith he can't make it for some reason. Anyhow, we started out with dinner and while eating we shared our stories/testimonies. We did it very casually and naturally.

Before i continue, i would love to give a little bit intro of my cell group member =) .

Nadia - She is 16 years old. She's pretty =) She told me that she has gain some weight and i can see that. On top of that, she has an incredibly great voice. She is a good singer.

Neeva - Neeva is Nadia's sister. She is 2 years old younger than Nadia but for me her looks does not represent her age. That's a good thing for her coz people can't mess up with her though =). She's cute and a very sweet girl to me.

Keith - An elder brother to Nadia and Neeva. He's sitting for SPM exams this year. Ermmm.. cool and handsome! Girls out there watch out =p. He plays guitar and a future guitarist for God i believe =).

Junior - His given name is Jeremiah Junior but i think he is more recognized as Junior. During his UPSR exams last year, he managed to get 3As and 2Bs. Apparently, he went to the same school together with his mom, he as a student and his mother as a teacher.

Nah, that's all about it.

Ok, lets begin. Yes!! Yesterday night was a good start for each and everyone of us who made it but Junior almost fell asleep towards the end of the meeting because he used to sleep as early as 8.30pm. =) since it is still in the beginning of the year, i got the idea of bringing them into a deep thought of whay they want to do/or what they want to achieve this year. As a student, a child and a servant in God's Kingdom there are so many things that need to be done. The one that focuses, can achieve it by God's grace.

For this reason, i gave each of them one paper with 4 question to be answered by them. I won't tell what the questions are but it is enough to open up their mind to think of something that they want to achieve. Later on, we spent some time to share on what we had written down.

In fact, as we proceed and go deeper in our sharing, they did not only share their hopes but also their fears. I believe this is not a coincidence since it fitted so well with the verse that i prepared earlier - Jeremiah 29:11 I alone know the plans i have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for (GNB).

Nadia sharing her resolutions

Just before the end of our meeting, i took out another paper which i prepared earlier ( I tried to designed it as nice as possible =p). This time, i told them to write down their hopes and dreams on it. So, we took about 15 minutes to get this done. We fold the letter and put them in separate envelope ( which i made it by myself) and sealed it. It's not the end of it, by the end of this year or maybe early next year, we will take this envelope and brings back our memories to what we have written here. We will then see and testify that our God is great and faithful, who is willing to answer and grant the desires of His children (of course according to His will =D ).

Last but not least, we prayed and that's the end of our first meeting =).

Thank GOD~!!! Til then see you again next week!!

My Letter, My Wish, My Hope

1 year from now =)
